Los Cabos

Los Cabos is a municipality located at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula in the state of Baja California Sur . It encompasses the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo (the municipal seat), as well as the Resort Corridor that lies between the two. The area's economy, like many resort areas in Mexico, was based on fishing but is now geared towards tourism, though sport fishing and golf are the area's main attractions.

Los Cabos – Captivating, enigmatic, and always sunny! Los Cabos or “The Capes” in english, where the desert meets the sea, is a non-stop destination and home to almost 164,162 (according to the 2005 census) people from all over Mexico! Los Cabos is the Marlin capital of the world and boasts Mexico's best golf with four world-class 18 hole courses. All this, plus an exciting nightlife combine to make "Cabo" the perfect vacation spot for every sun and sport enthusiast. Cabo San Lucas, known as Land's End, Referred to as Cabo by the locals, was made famous for it's world class big game sportfishing, but has grown to become much more than a fishing village, with many popular night clubs, restaurants, land activities, diving, and of course the famous arches beyond Lover's Beach.

Cabo San Lucas is the "Main Town", which is 20-some miles form the airport, and the entertainment hub of Cabo. The famous arch is in Cabo San Lucas.

San José del Cabo San Jose del Cabo offers a great vacation experience for the entire family. San Jose is easy to get to and once you are here you instantly forget the rat race back home and ease into a special pace, a much slower pace. Be careful, this is something that could easily become habit forming. Activities abound for all ages, golf, surfing, water sports, boating, fishing, ATV’s, horseback riding, shopping and numerous other activities are all here, just waiting for you. Relaxation seems to come naturally her but if “party till you drop” is the mood of the evening, you can always go to Cabo San Lucas.
